BVRLA Number: 893 Please read these terms and conditions carefully as by using this website you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and thereby have entered into a legally binding contract, which needs to be read in conjunction with your vehicle order form and accompanying documents. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions please leave the website immediately. We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions from time to time. Changes will take effect from the time and date they are posted on the website. The primary activity of our business is credit brokering. We also offer the secondary activity of the sourcing and supply of a vehicle. These two services form seperate contracts so if one were to be cancelled it would not automatically cancel the other. The service of credit brokering ends at the time you take delivery of your new vehicle & you enter into a credit agreement with a lender.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure all our data is as accurate as possible, this information should only be used as a guide. Whilst every effort has been made to verify this data for its accuracy, it should still be used as a guide. All vehicle specifications should be checked with the manufacturer, this responsibility is placed solely on the customer. Yorkshire Vehicle Finance limited will not be held liable for any vehicle specifications that are not present or differ from those advertised on our website upon delivery of the vehicle.
Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited reserves the right to change the price of a vehicle, either before or after an order has been placed. If a change to price is made after an order is placed, you will be notified in writing and you will have the right to withdraw from your order and the cancellation fee will be waived.
Prices on the website are for information purposes only and do not constitute an offer which is capable of acceptance by you.
Vehicle colours and specifications shown in the images on our website are for illustrative purposes only and may not be accurate. The colours and specifications shown may not be available from the manufacturers or may not represent the correct vehicle derivative or model. The customer is solely responsible for checking the final specification and colour on their order form with the manufacturer’s information. We will not be held liable to any specification or colours that are shown on images on our website, email communications or any other images distributed or advertised by Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited.
C02 emissions and P11d values are published using 3rd party data and we can not be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies. This is the same for both our website and quote/order documentation.
For the avoidance of doubt, all prices quoted on our website for Business Contract Hire EXCLUDE VAT and for Personal Contract Hire INCLUDE VAT.
The VAT is set to the prevailing national rate at the time. Should this rate change up to and during the order process and throughout the duration of your contract, the payments will be adjusted accordingly.
Unless stated to the contrary the prices include:
i. Delivery by the dealer to your chosen UK mainland destination. Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited reserve the right to pass on any additional costs associated with delivery. Delivery of vehicles is made by road and a delivery driver. Trailer delivery is available in certain circumstances but will incur additional cost.
ii. Number plates.
iii. Road fund licence and vehicle registration fee.
Upon entering into a contract agreement, you are wholly responsible for the routine maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. This includes keeping the vehicle suitably serviced and MOT’d within the guidelines of the vehicle’s warranty.
Different fuel types suit different driving requirements. Before placing your order and entering into a credit agreement with us, please ensure you have considered the most appropriate fuel type based on how you plan to use the vehicle.
Diesel vehicles are fitted with DPF’s (Diesel Particulate Filters). Your driving patterns could cause deposits to build up resulting in damage to this component. Please check that a diesel vehicle is suitable for your driving requirements.
Some diesel vehicles require the addition of a fuel additive called ‘AdBlue’. You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining levels of ‘AdBlue’.
You must ensure the vehicle you are hiring, leasing or purchasing is fully comprehensively insured.
For electric vehicle drivers, if travelling through congestion zones in London, you must register your vehicle with Transport for London. Please contact us as you may need additional documentation from us to do this. Further information about congestion zone exemption can be found here.
Please give consideration that the vehicle you are leasing/purchasing would meet your needs for the whole term of your agreement. When you enter into a contract with us, you should have considered that the vehicle meets your exact needs. Information stated on our website may be incorrect or estimated and is generally provided by CAP HPI data (a third-party data provider). It is up to you to check the vehicle specification fully with the manufacturer before you order the vehicle. Whilst we try and offer accurate and consultative advice, ultimately it is up to you to do your own research and ensure the vehicle meets your needs. This is especially important with electric vehicles. Ranges stated on the website depend heavily on driving conditions and style. You should choose a vehicle with a range that suits your own needs. Yorkshire vehicle finance limited will not be held liable for any vehicles delivered that do not meet your needs. By ordering a vehicle with us it is deemed that you have performed adequate research and the vehicle specified on your order form does suit your needs.
Quotations
Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited will provide a written quotation for you based on your specific needs and requirements. We will not be held liable for any extras, options or otherwise you fail to request or adequately describe to us.
Please be aware that certain finance agreements incur excess mileage charges. When such charges are present they will be detailed on your quotation, subsequent order and finance documentation.
The Contract Period, Annual and Overall Mileage all have an impact on the monthly rental/payment. Please ensure you give thought as to a realistic estimate for the product term.
By signing and returning our order form you are accepting these terms and conditions and in agreement for Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited to proceed and order your vehicle.
Before completing your order please ensure you are comfortable that the finance option you have selected meets your needs.
An order does not create a contract between you and Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited. For there to be a contract, Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited must locate you a vehicle matching the specification you require, at a price agreed between you and Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited. You must also enter into a financial agreement with a finance company. For the avoidance of doubt there is no contract to hire, lease or purchase a vehicle from Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited until the finance agreement is signed by you and the finance company and the agreement has become executed/operational.
Prior to ordering your vehicle a deposit may be required. Subsequent cancellation may result in the loss of any monies paid, subject to the discretion of Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited and/or any costs levied by the franchise dealer.
If you wish to cancel your order, prior to delivery of your new vehicle, you should provide a letter of cancellation to Mr Paul Thomas, Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited, 92 Baslow Road, Totley, Sheffield, S17 4DQ. Or an email to your sales representative. We may charge a cancellation fee up to the value of £500 VAT for services already provided. We will invoice this amount upon receipt of a cancellation letter. Payment must be made by BACS within 7 working days.
Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited use a panel of carefully selected finance providers, who pay us a commission, which may be pre-set, but can vary by finance provider. This may affect the amount payable by you and the amount of the vehicle’s monthly rental.
Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited do not charge a brokerage fee/documentation fee for our brokering services.
Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions regarding vehicle model or specification, including any optional extras, if you have accepted the order and these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check the vehicle you are ordering is to your specific requirements.
You will be notified if your car or van is preregistered. The date the vehicle is registered is the start date for your warranty, road fund license and MOT. If you would like the exact registry date, you must contact us.
Our Gap Insurance products are provided by a third-party insurance company. Any funds that are provided by the client (regarding GAP insurance) to Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited will be transferred into an appropriate non-statutory trust account.
Following an accepted order by you, we will carry out a credit check on you as part of the application process. If you are ordering a vehicle on behalf of a Limited Company, you are confirming you have authority to authorise a credit search in the name of the company and each Director.
By providing your business and/or personal information to us, you authorise us to disclose this information and any other information we hold about you to one or more lenders for the purpose of considering your finance application. You are also accepting the terms and conditions of the funder.
We rely on you to provide accurate information and all relevant supporting documentation.
The finance company will use the information provided to carry out searches with Credit Reference Agencies. A record of this search will be kept and may be used by other lenders in assessing future applications from you or your business. The finance company will make checks with various fraud prevention agencies to detect and prevent fraud.
You will provide any information required by the lender as a condition of their consideration of our finance application. Refusal to do so will result in your finance application being declined.
As part of the application process we may require copies of your driving licence, passport and utility bills. These documents are submitted to the finance company for the purposes of proof of identity and proof of residency and form part of the credit sanctions. Failure to produce these documents would result in your order being cancelled and the credit application declined.
Information provided to you on “lead times” and “delivery timescales” are estimates only and do not constitute an obligation to supply the vehicle in the time specified.
Delivery dates are subject to change by the manufacturer and we will not accept any responsibility for any losses or inconvenience caused.
Upon receipt of a correctly completed and signed finance agreement, payment of any deposit required and balance of any additional monies, Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited will contact you to arrange delivery of your vehicle to your chosen destination.
The statutory cooling off period observed by finance companies applies to all vehicles and as such, vehicles will not be delivered until the cooling off period has expired.
Proof of insurance is required before delivery can take place. You must be the main policy holder or a named driver on the insurance certificate.
You may be required to produce a driving licence on receipt of your new vehicle, as a proof of ID for the delivery agent.
Dependent upon the type of finance agreement you have selected, you may be required to return your vehicle to the finance company at the end of the contract. Collection of your vehicle will not happen automatically on the last day of your contract. It must first be booked with the finance company via ourselves. Please allow at least 7 days prior to the end of your contract to make this booking. To arrange a vehicle collection please call the office on 0114 2361818.
If you have your own select registration number on your vehicle, it is your responsibility to have the number assigned to a retention certificate prior to arranging collection of your vehicle. Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited will not be responsible for any fees incurred from the finance company due to a delay in collection as a result of retaining a select registration number. If you fail to remove your select registration number before the vehicle is collected you risk losing your plate. Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited will not hold any responsibility for this.
Once returned your vehicle will be inspected and may be subject to reconditioning fees. Customers are not charged for any refurbishment that arises from normal wear and tear. The BVRLA (British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association) publish a “Fair Wear & Tear Guide”. This guide illustrates the industry standard for fair wear and tear, when normal usage causes deterioration to a vehicle. Once returned your vehicle will also be subject to any excess mileage fees. The rate as to what your excess mileage will be charged is detailed within your finance contract documentation.
Any disputes that arise from you entering into a contract with Yorkshire Vehicle Finance Limited (this is generally but not limited to signing our order form) will first be dealt with by the process outlined in our complaint’s procedure. Following on from this, if a complaint is escalated, any disputes will be governed exclusively by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England & Wales.
If you have a complaint about any aspect of our services or products, no matter how big or small, we would like to know about it as soon as possible. Please contact our office, it would help us to resolve any issues quickly by providing the following information:

• Full details of your complaint
• Any details about your agreement or order details, including vehicle registration number
• How you would like us to make things right
• Copies of any relevant paperwork or email trail
